Starting the 2023/24 school year
Treehouse has a unique after-school program that is designed around how neighborhood play was back in the day. The children arrive hungry after a day at school and excited to play. After a hearty snack, the children choose from an array of activities including science, art, building, music, sports, dramatic play, cooking, and more. As you walk around the school you will see a group at the art table putting their own twist on their art project, there will be a group of children working together to put on a dance show or some type of talent show, and often a group of children building with blocks, legos or magnet tiles. Outside there is a group playing wall ball, some type of group game on the turf, and lots of laughing and running around the treehouse. At 4:30 we do a school-wide cleanup, group story time, and group game. Then we have another small snack while the children start their homework.
Our school-age program is for all children from TK through 3rd grade. Please see the current application for pricing for the different programs. This program includes school pick-up from Waggoner and from the Rominger bus drop-off and a hearty after-school snack. It runs Monday – Friday during after-school hours. There will be a maximum of 30 children and 3 teachers.
